The Grinch Was Here is an original acrylic portrait by South African artist Yaku — and yes, he was definitely here. You can tell by the neon green chaos he left behind.

Two vivid streaks of electric green slash through the darkness like footprints in the snow — bold, unapologetic, and just a little bit mischievous. The canvas is mostly black, mostly quiet... but that green? That green has opinions. It showed up uninvited, rearranged everything, and somehow made it better.

Much like the Grinch himself, this painting grows on you. What starts as a striking contrast becomes something you can't stop thinking about. A piece for those who appreciate a little chaos in their calm.
